Join the Team
Build the platform sports clubs run on.
Game Set Engage is an early-stage, remote-first team with hubs in London and Istanbul. We build the tools clubs use to know their fans by name — check-ins, campaigns, and a venue network that turns matchdays into revenue.
Why Here
Small team. Real product. Your fingerprints on it.
Shape the product
We're early-stage. The campaign type you argue for this month is in clubs' hands next month. You ship decisions, not tickets.
Remote-first, two hubs
Work from where you work best. When we meet, it's London or Istanbul — usually around a match.
Sports is the job
Everything we build exists for matchdays: fans checking in from stadiums, pubs, and sofas. If that sentence makes you grin, keep reading.
Real ownership
Equity participation for the team, and a say in where the company goes. Early enough that both mean something.
How We Work
No ticket factory. We ship weekly.
The product is one Rails monolith with Hotwire on the front, a JWT API for fans and venues on the side, and PostgreSQL underneath. One team owns it end to end: the campaign engine, the check-in flows, the venue partnership loop, the dashboards.
You'll see your work on a matchday. A campaign a club publishes in the morning is live for its fans as soon as its start time arrives — and the person who built that screen is one Slack message away from the person who sold it.
Stack
Ruby on Rails · Hotwire & Stimulus · Tailwind · PostgreSQL
Surface
Club dashboards · fan app · venue network · mobile API
Scale of play
500+ campaign scenarios across clubs of every size
Cadence
Small PRs, weekly ships, deploys measured in minutes
Open Roles
No listed openings right now — and we still want to hear from you.
We hire when we find the right person, not when a headcount spreadsheet says so. If any of these areas is yours, send a short note about what you'd build first:
-
Full-stack Rails engineers — Hotwire, Stimulus, and a taste for boring technology that ships
-
Mobile engineers — the fan experience on the phone, from GPS check-ins to push
-
Product & design — turning 500+ campaign scenarios into flows a club owner gets in one look
-
Growth & partnerships — clubs on one side, venues on the other, and a network effect in between
One Last Thing
The best fan engagement feature
hasn’t been built yet.
Maybe you're the one who builds it. Tell us what's missing from the platform — that's our favourite kind of introduction.
